John Morris
Pastor
John grew up in the church but it was not until he was 20 that he began to see the Bible truly come alive. He started attending a Calvary Chapel that went verse by verse through God's Word and realized that God not only wanted him to know of Him, but to personally walk with Him. Since then, John and his wife Meagan have seen God's transforming power firsthand in their lives and know that all they have is because of His abundant grace. They and their three children have seen the depths of God's faithfulness through many trials and in many seasons.
John has had the blessing of serving in youth ministry for the past 5 years along with serving in various ministries in the church. John began to feel God's leading to "simply teach the Word simply" as he transitioned out of the military and grew through various discipleship opportunities. In every step, he continued to see that it is only God's faithfulness and might that saves all who would come to Him, not any man's might or labor. Both John and Meagan are excited to see what God has in store for the people of Easton and their prayer is that many would see that it is God alone who saves and restores all who come and seek new life in Him.
"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed." 1 Corinthians 15:10-11
